We had a very busy spring medical conference season. Below are highlights:

SAGES 2011 in San Antonio
Stretta was featured at SAGES – at the Mederi booth as well as in the Endoscopy for Surgeons postgraduate course and hands-on workshop.

DDW 2011 in Chicago
Mederi featured both Secca and Stretta products at DDW. Our participation at DDW was kicked off with a Stretta lecture and hands-on training session and was attended by doctors and distribution partners from China, Brazil, Italy, Poland, and the U.S.

Also presented as a poster was a Meta-Analysis of Stretta data. This review featured 20 studies published over 10 years and including 1400 patients. The conclusions showed Stretta to be extremely effective in both subjective as well as objective criteria – notably in reduced esophageal acid exposre – for patients suffering from GERD.

Professor Roman Herman and his team from Krakow, Poland had a podium presentation on results of a study comparing biofeedback to Secca. This groundbreaking study showed the superior effectiveness of Secca in treating Bowel Control Disorder.

ASCRS 2011 in Vancouver
Mederi showcased Secca at ASCRS in Vancouver and was included in a session on Fecal Incontinence.
